Privacy Policy

AD3PT Interactive Inc., operating publicly as ADEPT Interactive ("ADEPT," "we," "us," or "our"), provides websites, mobile and computer applications, games, Fortnite/UEFN experiences, ADEPT ID, support services, and commission/project services. This Privacy Policy explains how ADEPT collects, uses, stores, discloses, and otherwise manages information when people use those services.

ADEPT does not sell personal information.

Information We Collect

1. Information users provide directly

Depending on the service, ADEPT may collect information that a person intentionally provides, including:

  • support messages and other correspondence;
  • project or commission descriptions, titles, budgets, timelines, and optional notes;
  • reference URLs or other materials submitted for a project;
  • an optional backup contact email for a particular inquiry or project;
  • profile information that a user chooses to provide or modify; and
  • other information intentionally submitted through an ADEPT service.

2. Account and authentication information

For ADEPT ID, the current production sign-in provider is Discord. Depending on what Discord supplies, the account may include a Discord user identifier, username or display name, provider-asserted verified email, and Discord avatar reference. ADEPT ID is separate from a mutable, non-unique display name. ADEPT also processes the authentication and session metadata needed to operate ADEPT ID. Discord access and refresh tokens are not retained after profile retrieval.

3. Device and usage information

Depending on the product and platform, ADEPT may receive or process device or platform information, service interactions, diagnostics, usage or activity information, and gameplay or service events needed to operate or improve that product. ADEPT does not claim that every product collects every category.

4. Platform information

Fortnite/UEFN experiences and other platform-distributed products may rely on information managed or supplied by platform operators, such as Epic Games. The information available to ADEPT depends on the platform integration and the permissions or data that the operator makes available; ADEPT does not independently claim information it does not receive.

How We Use Information

ADEPT uses information where needed to:

  • provide and operate ADEPT services;
  • maintain and improve those services;
  • authenticate users and maintain ADEPT ID;
  • display profile and account information;
  • process commission inquiries and project communication;
  • create and manage private project workspaces;
  • prepare and manage proposals and payment status;
  • provide support and respond to requests;
  • protect services against abuse, fraud, and security problems;
  • troubleshoot and monitor technical operation;
  • analyze service usage and trends where analytics are enabled;
  • provide advertising or platform functionality in products where those integrations are actually enabled; and
  • comply with accounting, tax, legal, and dispute-resolution obligations.

Consent to contact ADEPT about a commission inquiry authorizes inquiry-specific communication through the connected Discord account and any optional backup email. It is not marketing consent.

Website Sessions, Browser Storage, and Security Data

ADEPT uses secure session mechanisms for ADEPT ID. OAuth state is short lived, and the commissions form may use browser or session storage to support draft or submission continuity. Browser-local draft data does not automatically mean that it is stored in ADEPT's server database. Abuse and rate-limit protection uses keyed or pseudonymized network information rather than persisting raw source IP addresses in application tables. Authentication may use secure cookies; we do not describe the Website as cookie-free.

ADEPT ID and Discord

Discord is currently the production ADEPT ID sign-in provider. When a person connects Discord, ADEPT stores the provider avatar reference and renders the Discord-hosted avatar where applicable. ADEPT does not currently operate custom avatar-image upload storage. If no provider avatar is available, an ADEPT-generated fallback may be used. ADEPT does not request or store a date of birth solely to operate ADEPT ID.

Commission Inquiries and Projects

A commission inquiry may store the selected services or scopes, project title and details, reference URLs, budget and timing selections with optional notes, optional backup contact email, consent version and timestamp, status history, proposal and payment workflow records, limited Discord delivery or workspace identifiers, and commercial audit events needed to operate the project.

The Discord account connected to ADEPT ID is the primary contact method. A backup email is optional and inquiry- or project-specific. Commission contact consent is not marketing consent.

Submitting an inquiry is not acceptance, a purchase, a promise of availability, or authorization to start work. Versioned proposals and the Commission Terms govern any later commercial agreement.

Payments

ADEPT may use Stripe and PayPal payment links or requests. Stripe and PayPal process payment credentials under their own terms and privacy policies. ADEPT does not request or store a customer's card or bank credentials and does not process card numbers itself. ADEPT may retain the provider, amount, status, external reference, payment URL or status, and related audit records required to operate and account for a commission.

Third-Party Services

Depending on the relevant service, ADEPT may rely on Discord, Cloudflare, Stripe, PayPal, Epic Games, and other providers for identity, hosting, storage, security, payments, distribution, or platform functionality. Some ADEPT mobile applications may use third-party platform, analytics, advertising, or distribution services, including Google services where enabled. The exact services used can differ by product. Third-party providers process information under their own terms and privacy policies.

Advertising and Analytics

The production adeptinteractive.net Website currently uses Cloudflare Web Analytics through Cloudflare's Automatic setup for aggregate website measurement. Its current real-user-measurement setting excludes visitor data in the European Union. Cloudflare processes that measurement under its own terms and privacy policy. ADEPT does not claim that the current Website uses Google Analytics or PostHog. The Website's optional product-analytics code is dormant unless it is separately configured, enabled, and covered by a distinct analytics consent choice; commission or ADEPT ID consent is not analytics or advertising consent.

Security

ADEPT uses reasonable technical and organizational safeguards appropriate to the service. Depending on the service, safeguards can include secure cookies and session handling, short-lived and hashed OAuth state, rate limiting, environment separation, owner-scoped database operations, and least-privilege bot or service integration. No online system can guarantee absolute security.

Children and Age

ADEPT ID is intended only for people eligible to use Discord under Discord's terms and applicable law. ADEPT does not knowingly invite users below Discord's applicable minimum age to use ADEPT ID and does not collect a date of birth solely to operate it. Where applicable law requires parent or guardian consent for a young user who is otherwise permitted to use a service, that approval is required. Accepting a paid commission proposal or undertaking a payment obligation requires age-of-majority authority where the customer lives, or parent or legal-guardian approval. A commission inquiry itself is not a completed contract.

Retention and Deletion

Retention depends on the service and the reason the information is needed:

  • OAuth state expires after approximately 10 minutes.
  • Website sessions expire after approximately 30 days unless ended or revoked sooner.
  • Verified ADEPT ID deletion requests are normally actioned within approximately 30 days, subject to legitimate legal, security, fraud, accounting, or dispute exceptions.
  • Declined or cancelled commission inquiries that never become paid engagements are retained for no longer than 24 months after terminal closure unless there is a concrete legal, security, or dispute reason to retain them longer.
  • Records genuinely needed for accepted or paid commissions, accounting, and tax support may be retained for six years after the relevant tax year, or longer when legally required.

ADEPT does not automatically keep every free-form project detail, reference, or contact field for six years. Unnecessary personal or request content should be deleted, minimized, or anonymized when it is no longer required.

Disclosure and Processing by Providers

ADEPT may disclose information:

  • to service providers needed to operate the relevant service;
  • when required by law or legal process;
  • where reasonably necessary to protect users, ADEPT, or service security; or
  • as part of a legitimate corporate transaction where applicable law permits.

Third-party providers may process information in other jurisdictions according to their infrastructure and legal obligations. ADEPT does not sell personal information.

Access, Correction, and Deletion

You may contact ADEPT to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information. Requests are subject to applicable law and legitimate retention, security, accounting, and dispute-resolution requirements. Contact contact@adeptinteractive.net and we will verify and handle the request under the applicable privacy procedure.

Changes to This Policy

ADEPT may revise this Privacy Policy from time to time and will update the effective date when it does. ADEPT will not use a vague policy change to silently materially broaden collection practices; material changes will be described in the revised policy.
