Privacy Policy

Introduction

AD3PT Interactive Inc., operating publicly as ADEPT Interactive ("ADEPT," "we," "us," or "our"), makes games, Fortnite/UEFN experiences, creator tools, websites, mobile and computer applications, and project services. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices available to you when you use an ADEPT service.

ADEPT does not sell personal information.

Information We Collect

The information we receive depends on the service you use and what you choose to provide. It may include:

  • support messages and other correspondence;
  • project or commission descriptions, titles, budgets, timelines, and optional notes;
  • reference URLs or other materials submitted for a project;
  • an optional backup contact email for a particular inquiry or project;
  • profile information you choose to provide or change;
  • account, session, device, diagnostic, and service-usage information needed to operate a product; and
  • platform information made available to ADEPT through a service integration, such as information supplied by Epic Games for a Fortnite/UEFN experience.

ADEPT does not claim that every product collects every category. We only receive information that the relevant product, platform, or service makes available.

How We Use Information

We use information when needed to:

  • provide, maintain, and improve ADEPT services;
  • sign users in and operate ADEPT ID;
  • process commission inquiries and project communications;
  • prepare and manage proposals, payment status, and private project workspaces;
  • respond to support requests;
  • protect our services against abuse, fraud, and security problems;
  • troubleshoot and monitor technical operation;
  • understand service usage and trends where analytics are enabled; and
  • meet accounting, tax, legal, and dispute-resolution obligations.

Permission to contact ADEPT about a commission inquiry allows inquiry-specific communication through the connected Discord account and by email, using the optional backup email or, if none is given, the email address on your ADEPT ID. It is not marketing consent.

ADEPT ID and Accounts

ADEPT ID currently uses Discord for sign-in. When you connect Discord, we may receive the Discord user identifier, username or display name, avatar reference, verified email address, and other profile details Discord makes available for the sign-in connection. The ADEPT display name is separate from your Discord name and can be changed under the rules shown in the service.

ADEPT may store the account and session information needed to provide ADEPT ID, including that email address. Discord access and refresh tokens are not retained after they have been used to retrieve the profile. ADEPT does not request or store a date of birth solely to operate ADEPT ID, and ADEPT does not operate a custom avatar-upload service. Where applicable, avatars are loaded from Discord or replaced with an ADEPT-generated fallback.

Commission Requests and Projects

A commission inquiry may include the services or scopes selected, project title and details, reference URLs, budget and timing choices, optional notes and backup email, consent records, status history, proposal and payment records, limited Discord delivery or workspace identifiers, and the operational records needed to manage the project.

The Discord account connected to ADEPT ID is the primary contact method. A backup email is optional and is used only for the relevant inquiry or project. ADEPT emails project status updates, such as a new proposal or a payment that is due or received, to the backup email or, if none is given, to the email address on your ADEPT ID. Submitting an inquiry is not an acceptance, purchase, promise of availability, or authorization to begin work. Any later agreement is governed by the versioned proposal and our Commission Terms.

Analytics, Cookies, and Browser Storage

ADEPT uses Cloudflare for website hosting and security, and Cloudflare may provide aggregate website measurement where it is enabled for the relevant site. Cloudflare processes that information under its own terms and privacy policy.

ADEPT also offers optional product analytics through PostHog Cloud EU. PostHog starts only after you allow Analytics through the Website's consent controls. We use this information to understand page and feature usage, navigation patterns, and how to improve our games, tools, and services.

After you allow Analytics, an anonymous browser identifier may be stored in local storage so ADEPT can understand a session and recognize a return visit. ADEPT does not send your ADEPT ID, Discord identity, account details, commission contents, or customer project content to this optional product-analytics system. We do not use this system to identify you by those details.

When Analytics is allowed, ADEPT may use privacy-protected session replay on public Website pages to understand how the interface is used. Replay masks form inputs and page text, removes query strings and fragments from captured Website addresses and link attributes, and is configured not to record network request or response headers or bodies. Replay is blocked on account, administration, commission, checkout, payment, and API routes.

You can change or withdraw your Analytics choice at any time using the Privacy Choices control in the footer. Declining Analytics does not prevent normal Website use. Withdrawing Analytics stops optional product analytics and session replay for later activity.

ADEPT also uses cookies and browser or session storage for purposes such as secure sign-in, session continuity, consent controls, commission drafts, and abuse prevention. Browser-local draft data does not automatically mean that it is stored in ADEPT's server database.

Payments

Commission payments are made on the project's payment page on the Website, through Stripe or PayPal checkout. Those providers process payment credentials under their own terms and privacy policies. ADEPT does not request or store a customer's card or bank credentials and does not process card numbers itself.

To operate and account for a payment, ADEPT may retain the provider, amount, status, checkout and payment references, and related audit records.

For Asset Shop purchases, ADEPT and its payment providers may also process billing addresses, customer location evidence, product tax classifications, included tax amounts, and sale or refund tax records. Checkout uses Stripe Tax to calculate and report the included tax using the customer’s IP address, including when PayPal processes the payment. ADEPT shares that IP address with Stripe for this purpose and retains the tax evidence needed for accounting, filing, and legally required records. Billing details are not saved in the Website's browser local storage or sent to analytics.

When a purchased Asset Shop file is downloaded, ADEPT records the time, the file, the related purchase or account, and the IP address and browser information used for the download. ADEPT uses these records to confirm delivery, respond to payment disputes and chargebacks, and prevent fraud, and may share them with the relevant payment provider when responding to a dispute. Downloads of free assets are not recorded this way.

Emails and Staff Notifications

ADEPT sends service emails related to what you use, including purchase receipts, a reminder to a guest buyer who has not downloaded a purchase before the download link expires, commission project status updates, and notices when a new version of an Asset Shop product you own is available. Each asset update notice includes a link to stop receiving them. These are service messages, not marketing.

When an order, free claim, refund, dispute, project request, or commission payment occurs, ADEPT staff are notified by email, in a private ADEPT Discord staff channel, or both. These notifications include references such as the order or project number, product names or project title, the amount, and the payment provider. They do not include card or bank details.

Service Providers and International Processing

Depending on the service, ADEPT may rely on Discord, Cloudflare, Stripe, PayPal, Resend, Epic Games, and other providers for identity, hosting, storage, security, payments, email delivery, distribution, or platform functionality. Some ADEPT mobile applications may use third-party platform, analytics, advertising, or distribution services, including Google services where enabled. The providers used can differ by product, and they process information under their own terms and privacy policies.

These providers may process information in countries other than where you live, according to their infrastructure and legal obligations. ADEPT does not sell personal information.

We may also disclose information when required by law or legal process, when reasonably necessary to protect users, ADEPT, or service security, or as part of a legitimate corporate transaction where applicable law permits.

Retention

We keep information only for as long as it is needed for the relevant service, legal requirement, security purpose, or dispute. Current examples include:

  • OAuth sign-in state expires after approximately 10 minutes.
  • Website sessions expire after approximately 30 days unless ended or revoked sooner.
  • Verified ADEPT ID deletion requests are normally handled within approximately 30 days, subject to legitimate legal, security, fraud, accounting, or dispute exceptions.
  • Declined or cancelled commission inquiries that never become paid engagements are retained for no longer than 24 months after terminal closure unless there is a concrete reason to retain them longer.
  • Records genuinely needed for accepted or paid commissions, accounting, and tax support may be retained for six years after the relevant tax year, or longer when legally required.
  • Asset Shop download records, including the IP address and browser information, are deleted automatically approximately one year after the download.

ADEPT does not automatically keep every free-form project detail, reference, or contact field for six years. Unnecessary personal or request content should be deleted, minimized, or anonymized when it is no longer required.

Security

ADEPT uses reasonable technical and organizational safeguards appropriate to the service. Depending on the service, these may include secure cookies and session handling, short-lived and protected sign-in state, rate limiting, isolated deployment environments, owner-scoped database operations, and limited-access service integrations. No online system can guarantee absolute security.

Children and Age

ADEPT ID is intended for people eligible to use Discord under Discord's terms and applicable law. ADEPT does not knowingly invite people below Discord's applicable minimum age to use ADEPT ID and does not collect a date of birth solely to operate it.

Accepting a paid commission proposal or undertaking a payment obligation requires age-of-majority authority where the customer lives, including parent or legal-guardian approval where applicable. A commission inquiry itself is not a completed contract.

Your Choices and Requests

You can choose whether to allow optional Analytics, and you can change that choice later through Privacy Choices. You may also contact ADEPT to ask about access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information. We will verify and handle the request under the applicable privacy procedure, including any legitimate retention, security, accounting, or dispute-resolution requirements.
